Corvallis, OR (Sports Network) - Landry Fields tallied 16 points, 11 rebounds and six assists to lead the Stanford Cardinal to a 65-55 win over the Oregon State Beavers in a Pac-10 affair at Gill Coliseum

Jeremy Green also added 15 points and six rebounds for the Cardinal (13-14, 7-8 Pac-10), while Jack Trotter chipped in with 11 points in the win.

OSU (12-14, 6-8) was paced by Calvin Hayes, who scored a game-high 21 points in a losing effort. Seth Tarver also got involved, netting 10 points for the Beavers.

The Beavers got off to a fast start, shooting 40.0 percent from the floor in the first half, to take a 30-28 lead at the break.

Stanford stormed back in the second stanza, knocking down 12-of-23 shots from the field, en route to a 10-point victory.

Three-point shooting proved to be the difference in this contest, as Stanford outscored OSU 27-12 from long distance.
