Riverdale, NY (Sports Network) - Brandon Adams scored 18 points and collected eight rebounds to lead the Manhattan Jaspers to a 78-62 victory over the Towson Tigers in BracketBuster action at Draddy Gym.

Rico Pickett added 17 points and five assists for Manhattan (10-17), while Darryl Crawford and Andrew Gabriel contributed 13 points apiece.

RaShawn Polk netted 16 points for Towson (7-20), while Isaiah Philmore tallied 11 points. Troy Franklin and Calvin Lee both chipped in with 10 points apiece in the loss.

Manhattan went into the break with a 33-21 lead after holding Towson to a meager 33.3 percent shooting effort from the floor in the first half.

In the second stanza, the Jaspers pulled away by shooting a sizzling 60.6 percent from the field.

Manhattan dominated play in the paint, outscoring the Tigers down low by a 44-22 margin.
