Dwight Lewis posted 14 points in defeat for USC (16-10, 8-6), which received 12 points from Nikola Vucevic.

Washington State closed the first half on a 9-4 run and led 23-19 at intermission.

Moore banked in a big three-pointer with 51 seconds left, and that shot helped the Cougars overcome a career-low two points from Klay Thompson.

Washington State was also fortunate to overcome 10 misses from the foul line.
