Bowling Green, OH (Sports Network) - Dee Brown scored 20 points and Joe Jakubowski added 19, as the Bowling Green Falcons notched an 87-70 win over the Valparaiso Crusaders in a BracketBusters matchup at Anderson Arena.

All five starters scored in double figures for Bowling Green (14-12). Erik Marschall scored 17, Scott Thomas had 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Otis Polk finished with 11 points in the win.

Brandon McPherson tallied 16 points and seven assists to lead Valpo (15-15). Howard Little and Matt Kenney scored 11 apiece in the win, while Cory Johnson and Brandon Wood each finished with 10.

Bowling Green scored the game's first nine points and would later take a commanding 49-24 halftime lead, as the Falcons shot a blistering 60 percent from the floor in the opening half.
