Kevin Dillard added 17 points for SIU (15-12), while Kendal Brown-Surles tallied 12 points.

David Kool netted 21 points for WMU (14-13), while Flenard Whitfield contributed a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds. Demetrius Ward posted 12 points in the loss.

The Salukis went into the break with a commanding, 52-37 lead after shooting a staggering 67.9 percent from the floor in the opening half.

In the second stanza, SIU connected on 10-of-19 attempts from the field, en route to the 17-point victory.
