Athens, OH (Sports Network) - Armon Bassett scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Ohio University Bobcats to a 64-59 win over the Wright State Raiders in a non-league matchup at the Convocation Center as part of BracketBuster Weekend.

DeVaughn Washington also added 16 points and seven rebounds for the Bobcats (15-13).

Vaughn Duggins paced the Raiders (18-10), scoring 15 points, in a losing effort. Todd Brown also added 11 points and nine rebounds, while Cory Cooperwood chipped in with 10 points and nine rebounds.

Despite shooting just 28.6 percent from the floor in the first half, the Raiders still managed to take a 25-24 lead at the break.

Ohio took control of the game in the second stanza, knocking down 15-of-18 free-throw attempts, en route to a five-point victory.

Ohio's bench was the difference in this contest, outscoring the reserves for Wright State by a 44-8 margin.
