Baton Rouge, LA (Sports Network) - Tasmin Mitchell scored 16 points and collected eight rebounds to lead the LSU Tigers to a 65-54 victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks in an SEC tussle at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

Bo Spencer added 10 points in the win for LSU (10-17, 1-12 SEC).

Courtney Fortson notched 18 points to lead the way for Arkansas (14-14, 7-6), while Rotnei Clarke tallied 14 points in the losing effort.

Arkansas was held to a dismal 22.7 percent shooting from the floor during the first period of play, as LSU opened a commanding 33-18 halftime lead.

In the second half, the Tigers added a 13-of-17 effort from the charity stripe en route to the 11-point win.

The Razorbacks were guilty of 21 turnovers in the loss, accounting for 28 LSU points.
