Springfield, MO (Sports Network) - Adam Leonard poured in 24 points on the strength of 7-of-11 shooting from three-point range to lead the Missouri State Bears to a 75-59 triumph over the Drake Bulldogs in Missouri Valley Conference action.

Kyle Weems posted 17 points and 10 rebounds for Missouri State (19-10, 8-9 MVC), which got 11 points from Caleb Patterson.

Josh Young scored 20 points for Drake (13-17, 7-10). Seth VanDeest tallied 10 points, and Adam Templeton added 10 rebounds.

Missouri State shot 50 percent from the floor in the first half and led 33-29 at intermission.

The Bears shot an even more efficient 52 percent in the second half, including 6-of-10 from three-point range, to seal the win.

Missouri State committed just nine turnovers in the clash and earned a 13-7 edge in points from the foul line.
