Muncie, IN (Sports Network) - Brandon Bowdry's double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds helped the Eastern Michigan Eagles to a 72-67 victory over the Ball State Cardinals in Mid-American Conference action at Worthen Arena.

Carlos Medlock and Antonio Green each tallied 15 points for EMU (15-13, 7-7 MAC), while Justin Dobbins notched 12 points and eight rebounds.

Randy Davis scored 16 points for BSU (15-12, 8-6), which had its three-game win streak snapped, and Jarrod Jones added 14 points and six rebounds.

EMU made six three pointers and 10 free throws in the first period, opening a 36-33 edge at the intermission.

In the second half, the Eagles shot 42.9 percent from the floor and converted 9-of-12 free-throw attempts lock up the five-point win.

EMU had just six turnovers on the night, meanwhile, BSU coughed up the ball 12 times.
