Bowling Green, OH (Sports Network) - Justin Greene poured in a game-high 26 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Kent State Golden Flashes to a 75-69 victory over the Bowling Green Falcons in a Mid-American Conference tilt at Anderson Arena.

Chris Singletary added 12 points and five assists in the win for Kent State (21-8, 11-3 MAC), while Tyree Evans chipped in 10 points.

Otis Polk scored 21 points to lead the way for Bowling Green (14-13, 6-8), while Scott Thomas notched 14 points to go with five dishes in the loss.

The Falcons connected on 64.0 percent of their attempts from the floor during the opening period of play to open a 38-26 halftime lead.

In the second half, however, the Golden Flashes battled back with an outstanding 75.0 percent effort from the field to take the six-point win.

The Falcons were guilty of 17 turnovers in the loss, compared to just six giveaways by the Golden Flashes.
