Bronx, NY (Sports Network) - Jonathan Hall poured in a game-high 24 points as the Saint Bonaventure Bonnies defeated the Fordham Rams, 73-68, in an Atlantic 10 showdown at Rose Hill Gym.

Chris Matthews added 12 points for St. Bonaventure (12-14, 5-8 A-10), while Malcolm Eleby and Michael Davenport both netted 10 points in the win.

Brenton Butler scored 20 points in the loss for Fordham (2-24, 0-14), while Chris Gaston recorded a double-double, netting 18 points to go along with 13 rebounds. The Rams have now dropped 19 straight decisions.

The Rams took a slim 35-34 advantage into the intermission despite connecting on just 37.9 percent of their field goals in the first half.

The Bonnies were able to sneak by for the victory after shooting 41.4 percent from the floor in the second stanza, sinking 15 free throws to seal the five- point win.

St. Bonaventure won the battle in the trenches, outscoring the Rams 44-26 in the paint on the night.
