Davidson, NC (Sports Network) - J.P. Kuhlman scored 14 points to lead the Davidson Wildcats to a 60-56 victory over the UNC Greensboro Spartans in a Southern Conference battle at Belk Arena.

Jake Cohen added 13 points off the bench in the win for Davidson (15-13, 10-7 SoCon), while Will Archambault tallied 11 points to go with seven rebounds.

Kendall Toney posted 16 points in the loss for UNCG (6-22, 5-12), while Kyle Randall finished with 15 points and seven boards. Brian Cole got into the mix as well, chipping in 14 points off the bench for the Spartans.

The Spartans were limited to a mere 36.0 percent from the field during the opening period of play, enabling Davidson to take a 32-26 lead into the break.

In the second half, the Wildcats converted just 38.1 percent of their attempts from the floor but gained the upper hand with a 6-of-13 effort from long range to earn a four-point win.

Davidson finished the game 11-of-23 from downtown, while UNCG went just 5- of-15 from the same distance.
