Palo Alto, CA (Sports Network) - Eric Boateng scored 24 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Arizona State Sun Devils to a 68-60 victory over the Stanford Cardinal in Pac-10 action at the Maples Pavilion.

Derek Glasser added 20 points for ASU (20-8, 10-5 Pac-10), while Ty Abbott tallied 10 points.

Landry Fields posted 19 points and pulled down eight rebounds for Stanford (13-15, 7-9), while Drew Shiller contributed 16 points.

The Cardinal went into the break with a 35-28 edge after posting a 52.0 percent shooting effort from the field, which included a 6-of-11 clip from long range.

However, the Sun Devils fought back in the second stanza by shooting 44.4 percent from the floor.

Arizona State won the battle in the paint, outscoring Stanford down low by a 30-18 margin.
