Ruston, LA (Sports Network) - Paul Noonan scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Boise State Broncos to a 72-59 win over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs in a Western Athletic Conference showdown at the Thomas Assembly Center.

Ike Okoye also added 12 points for the Broncos (13-15, 3-10 WAC), while Daequon Montreal and La'Shard Anderson chipped in with 10 points apiece.

The Bulldogs (21-7, 8-5) were paced by Jamel Guyton, who netted 13 points in a losing effort. Olu Ashaolu also added 11 points for Louisiana Tech.

Neither team could gain an advantage in the opening half, trading baskets until entering the break tied at 37-37.

Boise State pulled away in the second stanza, knocking down 15-of-26 field goal attempts, en route to a 13-point victory.

Three-point shooting proved to be the difference in this contest, as the Broncos outscored the Bulldogs 24-9 from long distance.
