Moraga, CA (Sports Network) - Omar Samhan's double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds led the way for Saint Mary's, as the Gaels defeated the Pepperdine Waves, 76-49, in a West Coast Conference bout at the McKeon Pavilion.

Matthew Dellavedova added 17 points for Saint Mary's (23-5, 10-3 WCC), while Ben Allen tallied 13 points, to go along with eight boards.

Mychel Thompson was the only player in double figures for Pepperdine (7-22, 3-10), finishing the game with just 11 points.

The Gaels held Pepperdine to a meager 28.6 percent shooting effort from the floor in the first half and went into the break with a comfortable 34-17 advantage.
