Denton, TX (Sports Network) - Tristan Thompson scored 16 points to lead the North Texas Mean Green to a 65-57 win over the UL-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns in Sun Belt Conference action at the Super Pit.

The Mean Green (20-8, 12-5 SBC) also received 14 points from Josh White, while George Odufuwa chipped in with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Eric Tramiel also netted 10 points in the win.

ULL (13-15, 10-7) was paced by Tyren Johnson, who scored a game-high 22 points in a losing effort. Randell Daigle also got involved, scoring 16 points for the Ragin' Cajuns.
