Honolulu, HI (Sports Network) - Jared Quayle scored 13 points and collected seven rebounds to lead the Utah State Aggies to a 61-50 victory over the Hawaii Warriors in a Western Athletic Conference bout at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Pooh Williams added 12 points for Utah State (23-6, 12-2 WAC), while Tai Wesley posted nine points, to go along with six rebounds and five assists.

Hiram Thompson netted 13 points for Hawaii (9-18, 2-11), while Brandon Adams and Adhar Mayen posted 12 points apiece. Roderick Flemings chipped in 11 points in the loss.

The Aggies went into the break with a 25-17 advantage after holding Hawaii to a meager 28.0 percent shooting effort from the floor in the first half.

In the second stanza Utah State shot a respectable 46.4 percent from the field, and went on to win by an 11-point margin.

The Aggies won the battle in the paint, outscoring Hawaii by a 26-16 margin.
