Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Robo Kreps scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Illinois-Chicago Flames to a 78-71 win over the Green Bay Phoenix in Horizon League action at UIC Pavilion.

Zavion Neely also added 18 points for the Flames (8-20, 3-14 HL), while Jeremy Buttell chipped in with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

The Phoenix (19-11, 10-7) were paced Rahmon Fletcher who scored 17 points in a losing effort. Troy Cotton also added 15 points, while Bryquis Perine and Rian Pearson netted 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Despite shooting 37.1 percent from the floor in the first half, the Phoenix were able to take a 32-24 lead at the break.

UIC stormed back in the second stanza, knocking down 6-of-9 three-point attempts, en route to a seven-point victory.

Free-throw shooting proved to be the difference in this contest, as UIC outscored Green Bay 18-12 from the charity stripe.
