Sacramento, CA (Sports Network) - Gabe Rogers turned in 20 points and five assists to lead the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks over the Sacramento State Hornets, 73-59, in a Big Sky Conference bout at the Nest.

Cameron Jones posted 18 points and four helpers for NAU (14-13, 8-8 BSC), while Nick Larson ripped down 10 caroms.

Justin Eller had 14 points and five boards for the Hornets (9-20, 3-12), while Antonio Flaggs and Duro Bjegovic each chipped in with 12 points.

The Hornets shot 42.9 percent from the floor in the first half and went to the break with a 27-26 edge.

In the second stanza, NAU made 50.0 percent of its attempts from the floor and 16-of-17 at the foul line for the 14-point win.

The Lumberjacks hit 7-of-16 shots from long range and 20-of-21 at the stripe on the night, while the Hornets went just 6-of-18 from downtown and only 11- of-20 at the line.
