Berkeley, CA (Sports Network) - Jamal Boykin scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the California Golden Bears to a 62-46 win over the Arizona State Sun Devils in Pac-10 Conference play at Haas Pavilion,

Patrick Christopher also added 14 points for the Golden Bears (20-9, 12-5 Pac-10), while Theo Robertson chipped in with 13 points and seven rebounds.

ASU (20-9, 10-6) was paced by Jerren Shipp who scored 14 points in a losing effort.

The Sun Devils got off to a fast start, shooting 51.9 percent from the floor in the first half, to take a 30-29 lead at the break.

California took control of the contest in the second stanza, knocking down 13- of-24 shots from the floor, en route to the 16-point victory.

The Golden Bears were tenacious on defense, limiting ASU to just 39.6 percent shooting on the day, including a dismal 3-of-22 performance from three-point territory.

With the win California clinched a share of its first Pac-10 Conference regular-season title in 50 years.
