Cullowhee, NC (Sports Network) - Jake Robinson scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds as the Western Carolina Catamounts logged a 78-70 win over the Chattanooga Mocs in a Southern Conference battle at the Ramsey Center.

Also scoring in double figures for the Catamounts (21-10, 11-7 SoCon) were Keaton Cole and Brigham Waginger with 16 and 15 points, respectively.

Ricky Taylor led the Mocs (14-17, 6-12) with 13 points, but he shot just 3- of-12 from the floor, while Keegan Bell added 12 points and Ridge McKeither with 11 points off the bench in just 10 minutes.

Chattanooga shot a mere 29.2 percent from the field in the first half, including 2-of-10 behind the three-point line, which left the Mocs with a 35-26 deficit at the break.

In the second half WCU put the meeting away with 19-of-24 shooting at the charity stripe.

The Catamounts made good on 21-of-26 at the free-throw line in order to offset 23 turnovers.
