Piscataway, NJ (Sports Network) - Mike Rosario tallied 24 points and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights used a big second half to down the DePaul Blue Demons, 71-62, in Big East play at the RAC.

Rosario made 5-of-8 shots from long range and grabbed six boards for Rutgers (15-14, 5-11 Big East), which outscored DePaul 45-25 in the second half to snap a two-game slide. Jonathan Mitchell turned in 18 points and seven rebounds, while Dane Miller had 10 points.

Mac Koshwal logged 20 points and nine rebounds for the Blue Demons (8-20, 1-15), who dropped their 10th game in a row and 22nd straight on the road.

DePaul shot 48.5 percent from the floor in the first period and led by as many as 14 before settling for a 37-26 halftime advantage.

Rutgers quickly turned the tables with a 12-0 run to start the second half, and it went 6-of-10 from downtown and 9-of-10 at the foul line for the nine- point triumph.
