St. Louis, MS (Sports Network) - Kwamain Mitchell poured in a game-high 23 points to lead the Saint Louis Billikens to a 69-59 victory over the Duquesne Dukes in an Atlantic 10 Conference tussle at Chaifetz Arena.

Cody Ellis and Willie Reed added 10 points apiece in the win for Saint Louis (19-9, 10-4 A-10), while Brian Conklin chipped in 10 points as well to go with seven rebounds.

Bill Clark scored 17 points in the loss for Duquesne (15-13, 6-8), while B.J. Monteiro tallied 15 points.

Both squads converted over 50.0 percent of their attempts from the field during the opening stanza, ending the first half of play in a 33-33 deadlock.

In the second half, the Billikens held Duquesne to just 40.7 percent from the floor while knocking down 13-of-18 from the foul line to earn a 10-point victory.

The Dukes lost the battle of the boards by a 34-25 margin.
