Ruston, LA (Sports Network) - David Jackson scored 13 points to lead the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs to a 60-49 victory over the Idaho Vandals in a Western Athletic Conference tilt at the Thomas Assembly Center.

Jamel Guyton led the Bulldogs (22-7, 9-5 WAC) with 16 points, while Olu Ashaolu and DeAndre Brown posted 10 points apiece.

Marvin Jefferson tallied 13 points for Idaho (13-15, 4-10).

The Bulldogs went into the break with a 29-23 lead thanks in large part to Jackson, who netted 12 points in the first half.

Louisiana Tech used a 16-6 run in the second stanza to corral the 11-point win.

Louisiana Tech shot 42.3 percent from the field in the contest.
