Richmond, KY (Sports Network) - B.J.Jenkins and Isaac Miles scored 22 points each as the Murray State Racers bested the Eastern Kentucky Colonels 88-74 in an Ohio Valley Conference action.

Ivan Aska provided 15 points for the Racers (27-4, 17-1 OVC) who were seeing their first action since their 17-game winning streak was snapped against Morehead State on Thursday. Danero Thomas added 13 points and nine rebounds, while Jenkins ands Aska grabbed seven caroms apiece.

Josh Daniel and Joshua Jones scored 12 points each for Colonels (20-11,11-7), while Justin Stommes posted a team-high 15 points. Josh Taylor contributed 11 points in the loss.

Murray State led 37-29 at halftime after shooting 59.1 percent from the floor in the first half. Eastern Kentucky was just 8-of-27 from the floor in the first 20 minutes.

The Racers shot 16-of-25 from the floor over the final 20 minutes.

Murray State shot 61.7 percent from the floor for the game. Eastern Kentucky shot just 37.3 percent from the field and was outrebounded 40-23.
