Mike Proctor and Elliott Lloyd added 16 points apiece in the win for Northern Colorado (24-6, 12-4 BSC), while Neal Kingman chipped in 11 points.

Justin Eller posted a game-high 25 points in a losing effort for Sacramento State (9-21, 3-13), while Duro Bjegovic finished with 10 points off the bench.

The Hornets were held to just 37.5 percent shooting during the opening period of play, and Northern Colorado led 43-33 at intermission.
