Joe Burton pulled down seven rebounds for the Beavers (13-15, 7-9 Pac-10).

Mike Gerrity scored 13 points for the Trojans (16-12, 8-8), while Dwight Lewis finished with 11.

USC led 25-24 at intermission despite shooting just 10-of-31 from the floor and 3-of-10 from long range.

Both teams struggled in the second half, shooting a combined 13-of-41 from the field. The Beavers led by seven with 6:35 left, but went the last 8:24 without a field goal.

USC shot just 29.4 percent from the floor for the game and turned the ball over 20 times.
