Manhattan, NY (Sports Network) - Dan Mavraides erupted for 22 points and the Princeton Tigers went on to top the Columbia Lions, 67-52, in an Ivy League tilt at Levien Gym.

Mavraides went 7-of-9 from the floor and 3-of-5 from long range, as the Tigers (17-8, 8-3 Ivy) snapped a two-game slide. Kareem Maddox notched a double- double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Douglas Davis posted 14 points on 4-of-6 three-pointers.

Niko Scott turned in 12 points and four steals for Columbia (10-16, 4-8), while Kevin Bulger had 11 points.

The Tigers closed the first stanza on a 17-4 run, as they took a 28-20 lead to the locker room.

In the second frame, Princeton shot 54.5 percent from the floor on its way to the 15-point decision.
