Portland, OR (Sports Network) - T.J. Campbell scored 20 points and passed out five assists to lead the University of Portland Pilots to a 68-55 victory over the Santa Clara Broncos in a West Coast Conference tussle at the Chiles Center.

Robin Smeulders added 17 points in the win for Portland (19-9, 10-4 WCC).

The duo of Marc Trasolini and Michael Santos scored 14 points apiece to lead Santa Clara (11-20, 3-11).

The Broncos shot 56.5 percent from the floor during the opening frame, but they still found themselves locked in a 30-30 tie with the Pilots heading into the break.

The Pilots pulled away in the second stanza, hitting 47.6 percent of their attempts from the field to go with a 15-of-19 effort at the charity stripe.

The Broncos were guilty of 18 turnovers in the loss.
