Jacquan Nobles produced 19 points for TSU (9-22, 6-12), while Robert Covington logged 18 points and eight rebounds.

EIU shot 46.4 percent from the floor in the first half, taking a 30-24 lead to the intermission.

In the second half, the Panthers shot an even better 59.1 percent from the field, as they notched the five-point win.

The Tigers made only 38.6 percent of their attempts from the floor on the night.
