Jonesboro, AR (Sports Network) - Brandon Hazzard posted a game-high 20 points to lead the Troy Trojans to a 64-57 victory over the Arkansas State Red Wolves in a Sun Belt Conference affair at the Convocation Center.

Michael Vogler added 19 points in the win for Troy (18-11, 13-5 SBC).

Martavius Adams finished with a double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds to lead the way for Arkansas State (16-13, 11-7), while Sekani Milligen scored 18 points off the bench in a losing effort.

The Red Wolves converted just 40.0 percent from the field during the first period of play, but they managed to hold Troy to an even worse 34.4 percent performance to force a 28-28 lock at halftime.

In the second half, the Trojans and Red Wolves stayed cold from the floor, but an 11-of-12 effort from the foul line by the Trojans gave the squad an edge.

The Red Wolves were guilty of a game-high 15 turnovers in the loss.
