Birmingham, AL (Sports Network) - Elijah Millsap scored a game-high 20 points to help lead the UAB Blazers to a 76-55 win over the Tulane Green Wave in a Conference USA matchup at Bartow Arena.

Also scoring in double figures for the Blazers (23-5, 11-3 CUSA) were Howard Crawford and Dexter Fields with 14 and 10 points, respectively, in the team's four straight win.

Tulane (7-20, 2-12) was paced by Kendall Timmons and Kevin Sims with 13 and 12 points, respectively, as the team lost its sixth straight and the 10th in the last 11 outings.

UAB scored the first points of the afternoon and never looked back, shooting 58.3 percent from the floor to grab a 41-21 lead at the break.

In the second half the Blazers again shot the ball well from the field (.524) and managed to work through just 1-of-7 behind the three-point line in the period to capture the 21-point win.

The Green Wave finished the day shooting only 34 percent from the floor and 4- of-15 out on the perimeter, all while suffering 18 turnovers.
