Mount Pleasant, MI (Sports Network) - Robbie Harman and Jordan Bitzer each scored 22 points, as the Central Michigan Chippewas claimed a 74-66 win over the Western Michigan Broncos in Mid-American Action at the Rose Center.

Bitzer also collected a game-high 10 rebounds for CMU (14-14, 8-7 MAC).

David Kool paced the Broncos (15-14, 7-8) with 31 points, though he was the team's only player in double figures.

The Chippewas shot just 39.3 percent from the floor in the first half and trailed by as many as 10 with just under four minutes remaining until halftime. However, they closed out the half with a late flurry to cut the deficit to 34-30 at the break.

CMU turned the tide in the second stanza, shooting 51.7 percent from the floor and knocking down 5-of-8 three-pointers to seal the win.

The Chippewas committed just seven turnovers for the game, while the Broncos had 15 turnovers and only eight assists.
