Carlon Brown netted 16 points in the win for Utah (14-14, 7-7 MWC), while Shawn Glover added 10.

Desmar Jackson poured in a game-high 31 points in the loss for Wyoming (9-19, 2-12).

The game was knotted up at 31 heading into the intermission after both squads shot an identical 13-of-31 (.419 percent) from the floor in the first half.

The Utes were able to go on for the 10-point victory by taking advantage of their free throws, connecting on 15-of-18 attempts in the second stanza.

Utah outrebounded the Cowboys 37-26 in the battle, including a 10-4 advantage on the offensive boards.
