Cambridge, MA (Sports Network) - Laurent Rivard scored a game-high 21 points in just 20 minutes of work off of the bench, as the Harvard Crimson defeated the Fordham Rams, 80-57, in a non-conference showdown at Lavietes Pavilion.

Christian Webster netted 18 points in the win for Harvard (5-1), while Kyle Casey and Keith Wright both had double-figure performances with 13 and 10 points, respectively.

Fordham (2-4) was led by Chris Gaston's double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Brenton Butler added 11 points in the loss.

Harvard took a commanding 42-29 advantage into the intermission after holding the Rams to 42.3 percent shooting from the floor in the opening half.

The Crimson secured the victory behind excellent long-range shooting, sinking 9-of-14 shots from three-point land in the second stanza en route to the 23- point win.

Harvard distributed the ball well throughout the night, amassing 21 assists compared to just 10 for Fordham.
