Tony Taylor was the only player to reach double figures for George Washington (2-4), finishing with 11 points.

George Mason opened the game with a 7-0 run, helping it to a 28-26 halftime advantage.

The Patriots made 50.0 percent of their field goals and 16 free throws in the second half en route to the 14-point win.
