Chris Fouch scored a team-high 17 points in the win for Drexel (4-1), while Gerald Colds added 10.

Saint Joseph's (3-3) was led by Carl Jones, who netted a game-high 20 points in the loss.

Drexel held a 31-28 advantage at the intermission after keeping the Hawks to 41.4 percent shooting from the floor in the opening half.

The Dragons secured the victory despite connecting on just 40.0 percent of their shots in the second stanza.

Drexel took advantage of its extra opportunities, outscoring the Hawks 17-2 in second chance points on the night.
