Tuscaloosa, AL (Sports Network) - Tony Mitchell racked up 20 points and 13 rebounds as the Alabama Crimson Tide crushed the South Alabama Jaguars, 72-50, in a non-conference matchup.

Charvez Davis tallied 15 points off the bench for Alabama (4-3), which received 14 points from Senario Hillman.

Martino Brock scored 11 points and had four steals in the lopsided loss for South Alabama (2-4). Javier Carter scored 10 points for the Jaguars, who got 13 rebounds from Augustine Rubit.

Alabama owned a 33-23 advantage at intermission after holding South Alabama to 32.1 percent shooting from the floor in the first half.
