Towson, MD (Sports Network) - Isaiah Philmore sunk a jumper with one second remaining to lift the Towson Tigers to a 75-73 victory over the Western Michigan Broncos in a non-conference showdown at the Towson Center.

Philmore ended up with 17 points and 11 rebounds for Towson (2-3). Braxton Dupree also had a double-double with 21 points and 14 boards, while Troy Franklin led the way with 22 points in the win.

Western Michigan (1-4) was led by Nate Hutcheson and Juwan Howard Jr. who scored 13 points apiece. Demetrius Ward added 11 points in the loss, while Mike Douglas dished out 13 assists.

The Broncos held a 42-34 advantage at the intermission after connecting on 51.4 percent of their shots from the floor in the opening half.

Towson was able to mount the comeback after holding Western Michigan to a lackluster 36.4 percent shooting effort from the field in the second half. The Tigers sunk 50.0 percent of their shots, including the game-winner from Philmore.
