Tempe, AZ (Sports Network) - Carrick Felix finished with 15 points to lead the Arizona State Sun Devils past the Utah Utes, 57-52, in a Pac-12 Conference showdown at Wells Fargo Arena.

Trent Lockett added 12 points for the Sun Devils (8-16, 4-8 Pac-12), while Jordan Bachynski posted a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Chris Hines led the Utes (5-19, 2-10) with 10 points.

ASU shot 42.1 percent from the field in the opening period, but could make just 1-of-7 from three-point distance. Utah struggled to hit just 20.8 percent from the field, and only 2-of-12 on three-pointers. In a low scoring first half, the Sun Devils took a 23-18 advantage into the break.

After intermission, ASU's shooting improved, as the Sun Devils connected on 55 percent of their field goals. While only making 37.5 percent of its shots from the field in the second half, Utah kept it close by making 5-of-18 three-pointers.

While they played from behind for the entire half, the Utes trailed by just two points with 47 seconds to play but couldn't complete the comeback. The Sun Devils hit 3-of-4 free throws in the final minute to hold on for the victory, handing the Utes their fifth-straight loss.

ASU outscored Utah in the paint, 30-16, and outrebounded the Utes 40-22. Utah forced 20 ASU turnovers, converting them into 10 points.
