Taurasi carries Mercury past Storm

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Diana Taurasi scored a game-best 31 points and pulled down nine rebounds, as the Phoenix Mercury defeated the Seattle Storm, 94-80.

LaToya Pringle finished with 14 points and six boards for the Mercury, who snapped a two-game slide. Cappie Pondexter added 12 points, while Le'coe Willingham chipped in 11 points and eight boards.

Yolanda Griffith amassed 17 points and seven boards for the Storm, who lost for just the second time in their last 10 games. Tanisha Wright and Camille Little donated 14 and 13 points, respectively, in defeat.
