Duke uses balanced attack to dismantle UNC

Durham, NC (Sports Network) - Keturah Jackson and Bridgette Mitchell each scored 12 points in a balanced attack for eighth-ranked Duke, which crushed 18th-ranked North Carolina, 79-51 at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Krystal Thomas added 11 points for the Blue Devils (19-4, 7-1 ACC), who responded after being upset by Boston College on Thursday. Allison Vernerey, Jasmine Thomas and Shay Selby each had 10 points in the resounding victory.

She'la White and Laura Broomfield had 10 points to lead the Tar Heels (16-6, 4-4), who have now lost three straight.

Duke dominated the rebounding battle, 52-28, and outscored the Tar Heels by a commanding 37-18 margin in the second half. North Carolina never led in the game.
