FACTS & STATS: Site: Cajun Field (31,000) -- Lafayette, Louisiana. Television: ESPN3. Home Record: Troy 2-0, Louisiana 2-0. Away Record: Troy 0-2, Louisiana 2-1. Neutral Record: Troy 0-0, Louisiana 0-0. Conference Record: Troy 1-0, Louisiana 1-0. Series Record: Troy leads series 7-1.

GAME NOTES: Two of the three teams that remain undefeated in Sun Belt Conference play will square off, as the Troy Trojans travel to Cajun Field to take on Louisiana. The Ragin' Cajuns look to make it five straight wins, as they have been perfect since their opening game loss in Stillwater to Oklahoma State.

Troy's head coach Larry Blakeney is looking to win his third straight as his squad beat Middle Tennessee State and UAB in their previous two games following road losses to Clemson and Arkansas in their first two contests.

Louisiana has got off to a hot start in conference play. The Ragin' Cajuns outlasted the red hot FIU Panthers in the conference opener before defeating Florida Atlantic last week.

This will be the ninth game of the series with Troy dominating by winning seven of the first eight matchups. In the 2010 meeting between the schools, Troy walked away with a 31-24 victory after Corey Robinson put the Trojans ahead with a touchdown pass with under five minutes remaining. Robinson hopes for a better personal outing as he threw three interceptions to the Louisiana defense last year.

Robinson has been the leader of the Troy offense this season. In last week's win over UAB, the sophomore quarterback completed 30 of 49 passes for 349 yards. Robinson spread the ball around as he completed atleast one pass to 15 different receivers. He will be looking to throw for over 300 yards for the fourth straight game against Troy.

The pass first offense found some life through the ground against the Blazers when D.J. Taylor dashed into the end zone on three separate occasions. The running game features Shawn Southward and Chris Anderson frequently as well as all three backs have seen significant time. Receiver Eric Thomas has been Robinson's favorite target this year. Thomas has caught 18 passes for 309 yards and four touchdowns. The 521 yards of total offense posted last week was the season best for the Trojans.

Troy's defense has not been up to par in 2011. The defense has allowed over 150 yards rushing in every game this year. The defense is averaging 465 yards allowed per game. Big plays have been a problem for the Trojans. Troy has allowed a 55-plus yard play in each game this year. On a bright note, UAB's 23 points last week was the lowest total allowed by Troy so far. The Trojans are led on the defensive side by DB Brynden Trawick, who has recorded 40 tackles and a sack on the season.

Blaine Gautier has led the Cajuns in passing in all five games this season completing 58-of-91 passes for 762 yards. In last week's victory, Gautier found Harry Peoples 12 times for 176 yards and a touchdown. Peoples's outbreak last week put him on Troy's radar along with Javone Lawson, who has been stellar all season.

The running game of Louisiana consists of the Alonzo Harris/Qyenda Griffin tandem. Both rushers found the end zone last week against Florida Atlantic as they split the majority of the carries.

Lance Kelley leads the Ragin' Cajun defense with 39 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, two sacks and an interception. Dwight Bentley has also stood out with three interceptions through the first five games. The Louisiana defense has been pressuring the offense into mistakes as they have recorded 12 takeaways as well. The defense has given up an average of 24.5 points per game in their four wins.

This game features two of the stronger teams in the Sun Belt Conference. Although Troy has dominated the series to this point, Lafayette is boasting one of their best squads in years. Troy will go as far as Corey Robinson can take them, which could be pretty far if he can avoid turnovers.
