Troy, AL (Sports Network) - D.J. Taylor rushed for three touchdowns, including the go-ahead score late in the fourth quarter to propel Troy to a 24-23 win over UAB at Movie Gallery Veterans Stadium.

Corey Robinson completed 30-of-49 passes for 349 yards to lead Troy (2-2), which amassed 521 yards of total offense and scored 10-unanswered points in the final 5:18 to secure the win.

UAB (0-4) was led by quarterback Jonathan Perry, who completed 19-of-39 passes for 196 yards. Jacki Williams had 89 yards on eight receptions for the Blazers, who forced three turnovers but couldn't gain any traction offensively in the fourth quarter.

The Blazers took the early lead on Perry's one yard touchdown run at the four minute mark of the first quarter. Troy responded with a seven play, 64 yard drive that culminated with a three-yard scoring run by Taylor that tied the score.

UAB retook the lead, 10-7, after Ty Long's 37-yard field goal. Taylor found paydirt for the second time in the game with 3:10 remaining in the half, scoring on a one yard plunge that ended an impressive 11 play, 96-yard drive.

Long hit a 37 yard field goal with 32 seconds remaining before halftime to pull UAB within 14-13, then hit a 41 yarder to give the Blazers a 16-14 edge at the 6:39 mark of the third quarter.

UAB's defense extended the lead on the next drive, as T.J. Ballou intercepted a Robinson pass and returned it 52 yards for a touchdown.

That set the stage for Troy's rally. The Trojans took the lead in less than two minutes in the fourth quarter, which started with Michael Taylor's 48 yard field goal with 5:17 remaining. Perry was intercepted at UAB's 18 yard line on the next possession, and following a pass interference call that moved Troy to the UAB two yard line, Taylor scored his third rushing touchdown of the day on a two yard scamper with 4:07 left.

Perry drove UAB to midfield on the next possession, but his pass to Patrick Hearns on fourth and one fell incomplete with 1:37 remaining, and Troy took over on downs.
