Reno, NV (Sports Network) - Cody Fajardo threw for 203 yards and rushed for another 86 yards and two touchdowns to lead Nevada to a 49-7 victory over New Mexico at Mackay Stadium.

Stefphon Jefferson had 108 yards rushing and one touchdown and Lampford Mark added three rushing touchdowns for Nevada (3-3), which amassed 598 yards and 34 first downs in the rout.

Tarean Austin accounted for 41 yards rushing and another 27 yards passing for New Mexico (0-6), which struggled offensively and is now tied for the nation's longest losing streak at nine games. The Lobos registered just 257 yards of total offense and 14 first downs.

Mark's first touchdown of the day came at the 9:21 mark of the first quarter, and Jefferson quickly made it 14-0 after an 11-yard touchdown scamper at the 3:39 mark of the first frame, which capped an eight-play, 82-yard drive.

The Nevada defense got in on the scoring in the final seconds of the first quarter, as Marlon Johnson returned a fumble 25 yards to make it 21-0.

Fajardo engineered another eight-play, 80-yard drive late in the second quarter, and scored on a quarterback keeper from two-yards out to make it 28-0 with 2:18 remaining before halftime.

Mark and Fajardo both had four-yard touchdown runs in the third quarter, and Mark added his third score of the day on a nine-yard run at the 10:51 mark of the fourth quarter to extend the lead to 49-0. Mark finished with 39 yards on nine carries.

Austin gave New Mexico its only score of the day on a 17-yard touchdown run with just over six minutes remaining, which capped a nine-play, 63-yard drive.

Nevada ran 83 plays for an average of 7.2 yards per play, while New Mexico ran 64 plays for just four yards per snap.
