Boca Raton, FL (Sports Network) - Logan Kilgore threw for 218 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders to a 38-14 victory over the Florida Atlantic Owls in a Sun Belt Conference bout at FAU Stadium.

Kilgore went 28-of-39 under center in the win for Middle Tennessee (2-4, 1-2 Sun completing the first 19 passes he threw en route to a new school record.

William Pratcher led a Blue Raiders ground attack that gained 187 total yards with 125 yards and a score, while Kyle Griswould contributed 35 yards rushing an touchdown.

Alfred Morris ran for 153 yards on just 18 carries to lead the way for FAU (0-7, 0-4). Graham Wilbert threw for just 104 yards with a touchdown and an interception in the loss.

The Blue Raiders jumped out to a 7-0 lead with a 20-yard strike from Kilgore to Malcolm Beyah to cap an eight-play, 63-yard opening drive.

Kilgore gave the Blue Raiders a 14-0 advantage midway through the first quarter five-yard toss to Shane Blissard.

A 23-yard pass from Kilgore to Andrew Blanks extended the Middle Tennessee advantage to 21-0 and closed out the first frame.

FAU got on the board early in the second quarter following a five-yard scoring strike from Wilbert to Darian Williams.

The Blue Raiders added a 32-yard kick from Alan Gendreau midway through the third quarter, and followed with a 12-yard Pratcher scoring run just minutes later to extend their lead to 31-7.

The Owls added a one-yard plunge for a score from Stephen Curtis early in the final quarter of play, but Middle Tennessee kept FAU at bay the rest of the way and tacked on a one-yard scoring run from Griswould late in the frame to account for the final score of the meeting.
