Monroe, LA (Sports Network) - Jyruss Edwards ran for a career-high 191 yards and scored three touchdowns as the ULM Warhawks completed a 42-14 rout of the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders in a Sun Belt Conference affair at Malone Stadium.

Signal-caller Kolton Browning paced the Warhawks (3-7, 2-4 SBC) with a 15-of-18 effort that yielded 193 passing yards and two touchdowns, while Je'Ron Hamm caught four passes for 91 yards and a score. Mitchell Bailey added 43 yards on 17 carries on a day in which the ULM ground game racked up 260 total yards.

Logan Kilgore completed 21-of-30 for 148 yards with a touchdown and one interception in the loss for Middle Tennessee (2-7, 2-4). Jeff Murphy also saw time under center for the Blue Raiders, completing 11-of-22 for 143 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. Kyle Griswould caught seven passes for 99 yards as well, while Tavarres Jefferson grabbed nine balls for 74 yards and a score.

The Warhawks capped a six-play, 38-yard opening drive with a three yard Browning touchdown run to take a 7-0 lead.

The Warhawks took a 14-0 lead midway through the frame following a 17- yard scamper by Edwards, and extended the advantage to 21-0 late in the stanza with a 12-yard strike from Browning to Leonard.

The Warhawks made it 28-0 early in the second period, as Browning found Je'Ron Hamm with a 50-yard toss.

ULM pulled even further ahead just minutes later, as Edwards found the end zone following a 41-yard run.

The Blue Raiders got on the board late in the frame with a 19-yard pass from Kilgore to Sancho McDonald.

Kilgore pulled the Blue Raiders to within 35-14 early in the third quarter after finding Jefferson with a 14-yard strike, but a 31-yard scoring scamper from Edwards late in the stanza pushed the ULM advantage to 42-14.
