Pasadena, CA (Sports Network) - Quarterback Kevin Prince threw for 225 yards and a career-high four touchdowns, leading the UCLA Bruins to a 45-6 rout of the Colorado Buffaloes in Pac-12 action at the Rose Bowl.

UCLA (6-5, 5-3 Pac-12) amassed 553 yards of total offense, as Prince's passing game was enhanced by 328 yards rushing. Johnathan Franklin averaged nearly 11 yards per carry, churning out 162 yards and one TD on just 15 carries. Prince added 85 yards rushing. Rosario Nelson caught six balls, for 102 yards and one TD, while Joseph Fauria had five receptions, for 49 yards and two scores.

Colorado (2-10, 1-7) struggled on both sides of the football, including a mere 229 total yards of offense. Quarterback Tyler Hansen completed just 16-of-31 passes, for 127 yards with one TD and three interceptions. Tailback Rodney Stewart led the ground game for the Buffs with 77 yards.

The Bruins jumped all over the Buffaloes early with three first-quarter touchdowns. The first came at the 12:22 mark of the period, as Prince hit Shaq Evans for a 54-yard TD. Franklin scored on a 14-yard run less than a minute later, followed by a five-yard TD pass from Prince to Fauria.

The Buffaloes finally got on the scoreboard early in the second quarter, as Hansen connected on a 20-yard TD pass to Toney Clemons. A failed PAT left the score at 21-6, a score which held up at the half.

It was all UCLA in the second half, as a 22-yard field goal by Tyler Gonzalez in the third quarter and three fourth-quarter TDs provided the 45-6 final score. Fauria and Prince hooked up early in the final stanza for a 15-yard TD. Prince's fourth TD pass was an 11-yard strike to Rosario at the 8:07 mark and finally, Malcolm Jones scored on a one-yard run with just under four minutes to play.

The Bruins are one victory away from claiming the Pac-12 South title. If they can knock off arch rival USC next weekend, they will play in the inaugural Pac-12 Championship Game.
