Columbia, MO (Sports Network) - James Franklin rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner with 2:22 left in regulation as the Missouri Tigers topped the Texas Tech Red Raiders 31-27 in a Big 12 game at Faurot Field.

Franklin was 13-of-20 through the air for 172 yards and two score to complement his running exploits. He finished with 324 yards in total offense. Kendial Lawrence rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown for the Tigers (6-5, 4-4 Big 12), and Marcus Lucas caught four balls for 68 yards and a touchdown.

Seth Doege was 37-of-53 through the air for the Red Raiders (5-6, 2-6) for 315 yards and a score. Darrin More caught nine balls for 88 yards and a touchdown. Aaron Crawford rushed for 70 yards but Texas Tech still lost its fourth straight.

The Red Raiders opened the scoring when Brad Marquez scored from a yard out four minutes into the first quarter. Doege made it a 14-0 game on a three-yard run with a minute-and-a-half remaining in the period.

The Tigers, who became bowl eligible with the win, got on the board on Franklin's four-yard run with five minutes left in the first half.

Donnie Carona's 48-yard field goal made it a 17-7 game with 27 seconds left in the half.

Trey Barrow answered back with a 39-yard field goal for the Tigers as time expired.

Carona's 33-yard field goal extended the Texas Tech lead to 20-10 six minutes into the third quarter.

Missouri responded when Franklin hit Michael Egnew with a five-yard scoring pass just inside the five-minute mark.

Doege extended the Texas Tech lead to 27-17 when he hit Moore on a 24-yard pattern with one second remaining in the third quarter.

Franklin and Lucas connected on a seven-yard pattern with 12 minutes left in the game to cut the Texas Tech lead to 27-24.

Franklin's game-winning score was a nine-yard burst that capped a 89-yard drive.

The two teams combined for 947 yards in total offense.

The Tigers were without coach Gary Pinkel, who was serving a school-imposed one game suspension after being arrested on suspicion of drunken driving earlier this week.
