NCAA Game Summary - Idaho at Nevada

Final Score: Idaho 3 - Nevada 56

Reno, NV (Sports Network) - Tyler Lantrip completed 24-of-31 passes for 340 yards and four touchdowns, as the Nevada Wolf Pack wrapped up the regular season with a 56-3 triumph over the Idaho Vandals in Western Athletic Conference play at Mackay Stadium.

Three of Lantrip's touchdown passes went to Aaron Bradley, who finished with 136 yards on seven catches. Rishard Matthews also had a big day with 12 catches for 114 yards and a score. Lampford Mark paced the ground attack with 104 rushing yards and a TD for the Wolf Pack (7-5, 5-2 WAC), who were coming off consecutive losses and looking to help their bowl chances with a big win today.

Idaho quarterback Brian Reader was intercepted twice and completed only 11- of-27 passes to finish off a disappointing season for the Vandals (2-10, 1-6), who notched only one victory against another member of the Football Bowl Subdivision.

Nevada led 7-0 after Mark's six-yard touchdown run in the final seconds of the opening quarter.

The Wolf Pack extended their lead to 14-0 on Lantrip's 63-yard scoring strike to Bradley with just under 10 minutes to play until halftime.

Idaho's only points of the game came on a 19-yard field goal by Trey Farquhar at the 5:44 mark of the second quarter.

However, Nevada answered with a seven-play, 79-yard drive, capped by a 15-yard touchdown pass from Lantrip to Bradley. The Wolf Pack forced a quick three- and-out and got the ball back with just over two minutes remaining in the half. Lantrip capitalized on that possession with a 28-yard TD pass to Tray Session with 10 seconds to play until halftime.

Lantrip and Bradley hooked up for their third touchdown connection of the day on a 22-yard pass midway through the third quarter to make it a 35-3 game.

Matthews scored on a four-yard run on the first play of the fourth quarter, punctuating a 13-play, 89-yard drive. On the ensuing possession, Jeremiah Green came through with a defensive touchdown on a 56-yard interception return. Nevada backup QB Mason Magleby closed out the scoring with a seven- yard touchdown pass to Kendall Brock in the final minutes.

Nevada accumulated 35 first downs to only 13 for Idaho. The Wolf Pack finished with 587 total yards for the game, as they converted 9-of-14 third downs and came away with touchdowns on four of their five trips inside the red zone.
